1. Taste of Shikanji
Motivational Story : A professor was taking a class . All the students of the class were listening to his lecture with great interest . Was answering the questions asked by him . _ _ But among those students there was a student in the class who was silent and silent . was sitting . _
The professor took notice of that student on the very first day , but did not say anything . But when it went on like this for 4-5 days , he called that student to his cabin after class and asked , “ You are sad all the time . _ _ You sit alone and silently in class . _ Don’t even pay attention to lectures . What ‘s the matter ? Is there some problem ? “
“ Sir , that ….” The student said with some hesitation , “…. Something happened in my past due to which I am worried . _ _ _ _ I do n’t understand what to do ?”
The professor was a good person . He called that student to his house in the evening .
When the student reached the professor ‘s house in the evening , the professor called him inside and made him sit . Then he himself went to the kitchen and started making shikanji . He deliberately put more salt in the shikanji .
Then came out of the kitchen and gave a glass of shikanji to the student and said , ” Take this , drink the shikanji .”
As soon as the student took a sip with the glass in his hand , his mouth became strange due to the taste of excess salt . Seeing this the professor asked , ” What happened ? Do n’t like the shikanji ?
” No sir , it is not like that . Just a little too much salt in the shikanji . The student spoke .
” Oh , now it ‘s useless . _ _ Bring me the glass . I throw it away . ” The professor extended his hand to take the glass from the student . But the student refused and said , ” No sir , only salt is more . _ _ If you add some more sugar , then the taste will be fine .
On hearing this the professor became serious and said , ” You are right . Now understand it too . _ This shikanji is your life . Too much salt dissolved in it is bad experiences of your past . Just as the salt can not be taken out of the shank , similarly those bad experiences can not be separated from life . Those bad experiences are also a part of life . But the way we can change the taste of shikanji by dissolving sugar . Similarly , in order to forget bad experiences , sweetness has to be dissolved in life , will it not ? That ‘s why I want you to add sweetness to your life now .”
The student understood the professor ‘s point and decided that now he would not be disturbed by the past .
Often in life we are sad by remembering the bad memories and experiences of the past . _ _ _ In this way , we are not able to pay attention to our present and somewhere spoil our future . What has happened can not be rectified . _ _ But at least it can be forgotten and to forget them we have to make new sweet memories today . _ _ _ Bring sweet and happy moments in life , then only sweetness will come in life .
2. The Story of the Elephant and the Rope
One day a man went to see the circus . There when he passed by the elephant enclosure , he saw such a sight that he was astonished . _ _ _ He saw that some giant elephants were kept with a rope tied only to their front legs . _ He thought that the elephants must have been kept in big cages or tied with chains . _ _ _ _ _ But the scene there was quite the opposite .
He asked the mahout , ” Brother ! You guys have just tied these elephants with the help of a rope , that too to their front legs . _ They can break this rope very easily . _ _ _ _ _ _ I wonder why they are not breaking it ? _ _
The mahout told him , “ We have been tying these elephants with such a thick rope ever since they were small . _ _ _ At that time he tried very hard to break the rope . But they were small . Therefore it was beyond his ability to break the rope . He could not break the rope and assumed that the rope was so strong that he could not break it . Even today the same thinking continues . _ Even today they feel that they will not be able to break the rope . That’s why they do n’t even try .”
Hearing this , the man was stunned .
“ Friends , like those elephants , we too are bound by the rope of negative thinking in our lives . We take the failure achieved in some work in life in our mind and start believing that once we fail in any work , we will never get success in it . _ _ _ _ _ Because of this negative thinking , we never try . _ _
There is a need to get out of this negative thinking ; To identify and overcome those shortcomings , which became the reason for our failure . Negative thinking is the biggest obstacle in our success . So break the chain of negative thinking and adopt positive thinking and never stop trying in life , because trying is a step towards success . _ _ _ _ _ _
3. Sharks and Bait Fishes
During his research , a marine biologist put a shark in a large tank full of water . _ After sometime he put some fodder fish in it . _
On seeing the bait fishes , the shark immediately swam towards them and attacked them and ate them . _ The marine biologist put some more bait fish in the tank and they too immediately became the food of the shark .
Now the marine biologist put a strong transparent piece of glass in the middle of that tank . _ Now the tank was divided into two parts . There was a shark in one part . In the second part he put some bait fish .
The shark could see the bait fish through the separatory transparent glass . Seeing the bait fish , the shark again swam to that side to attack them . _ But it collided with the dividing piece of glass . _ He tried again . _ _ But because of the piece of glass , that bait could not reach the fishes .
The shark tried to attack the bait fish with full aggression dozens of times . _ _ But she failed as a piece of glass came in the middle . _ For several days the shark tried to cross those glass dividers . _ _ _ _ But could not succeed . _ Eventually , exhausted , she gave up the attack for one day and started living in her own part of the tank .
A few days later the marine biologist removed the glass separator from the tank . But the shark never attacked those bait fish because an imaginary separator had settled in her mind and she thought she could not cross it . _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
While facing failure in life , many times we break from inside and give up . _ _ _ _ _ _ We think that no matter how hard we try now , it is impossible to achieve success and after that we never try . _ _ _ _ Whereas continuous effort is necessary to achieve success . _ Circumstances keep changing . _ _ So do n’t let the failure of the past dominate your mind and work hard again with full dedication . Success will kiss your feet .
4. Four Candles
Motivational Story In Hindi : It was night time . There was darkness all around . _ _ Only one room was illuminated . _ There were four candles burning . _
Seeing the four candles alone , they started talking among themselves . The first candle said , ” I am peace . When I see this world , I feel very sad . _ _ _ _ _ There is rioting , looting and violence all around . _ _ _ _ _ So it is very difficult to live here . I ca n’t stay here anymore . ” Saying this the candle went out .
The second candle also began to speak its mind , ” I believe . I feel that lies , deceit , deception , dishonesty are destroying my existence . _ _ _ _ This place is no longer worthy of me . I ‘m going too . ” Saying this the second candle was also extinguished .
The third candle was also sad . _ She said , ” I am love . I can burn every moment for everyone . _ _ _ But now no one has time left for me . _ Selfishness and hatred is taking my place . _ _ _ _ There was no love – feeling left in the minds of people even towards their loved ones . It is not my thing to bear this now . It would be fine for me to go .” Saying that the third candle was also extinguished .
The third light was out when a boy entered the room . _ _ He was very sad to see the candles going out . Tears started flowing from his eyes . He said with a sad heart , ” How can you go dark in my life in the middle like this . _ _ You had to burn completely till the end . But you left my side . _ What shall I do now ?”
After listening to the child , the fourth candle said , ” Do n’t be afraid, child . I am hopeful and I am with you . As long as I am burning , you can light other candles with my flame . ” _
On hearing the fourth candle , the child ‘s confidence was bound . He rekindled peace , faith and love with hope . _ _ _ _ _
Time does n’t stay the same in life . Sometimes there is light , sometimes it is dark . When darkness comes in life , the mind becomes restless , faith starts to waver and the world starts to look alien . Then light the lamp of hope . As long as the lamp of hope continues to burn , there can never be darkness in life . Everything in life can be achieved on the strength of hope . So never give up on hope . _

He tore that page of the book and then cut that page into many small pieces . _ _ _ _ Giving those pieces to the child , he said , ” The world map was made on this page . I have divided it into few pieces . _ You have to make a world map again by joining these pieces . Go go and add it . When the world map is made , then come and show me .
The child took those pieces and went away . Here the father took a sigh of relief that now the child would not come to him for several hours and he would be able to do his work in peace .
But within 5 minutes the child came and said , ” Dad , look , I have made a world map .”
The father checked , and found that the map was connected correctly . _ He asked in amazement , ” How did you do this so quickly ?”
” It was very easy , father . _ The fragments of the page you gave me had a world map on one side , a cartoon on one side . _ I added the cartoon , the world map was created automatically . _ _
The father just kept looking at the child .
Lesson – Often we see a big problem when we see it and think that the problem is very big and it can not be solved . _ _ We see one side of it and form our own point of view . While there may be another aspect to it , from where its solution can be found very easily . Therefore , whenever there is a problem in life , it should be assessed by looking at every aspect . Some easy solution will definitely be found . _

Hearing this , the other person said , ” Brother ! I just keep on learning , from my own mistakes as well as from the mistakes of others . _ _ I also learn from the problems that come up . _ _ _ Therefore , when the same problem comes up again , then I am able to face it well and I do not have to suffer because of it . It is just this tendency to learn , which is taking me forward in life . _ _
Listening to the second person , the first person realized his mistake . _ For the sake of success , he was filled with over – confidence and stopped learning . _ He returned with a vow that he would never stop learning . After that he never looked back and kept on climbing the stairs of progress . _

He gathered the strength of his body to jump out of the jar , but he had already used all the energy of his body to slowly adjust to the boiling water . _ He no longer had the energy to jump out of the jar . _ He failed to jump out of the jar and died in the same jar .
If in time he had used the energy of his body to jump out of the jar , he would have been alive .
